COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Columbus dry-hops added directly to the open fermenter uniquely characterize our IPA with an intensely robust pure-like floral aroma and resinous hop flavor. A pronounced hop bitterness is balanced by a medium-bodied, lightly caramel and toasted malt character with a nutty finish.

I didn’t really like this. It is distinctly bitter and smells like a dirty fur taco.

A bit cloudy with too much head.... I was kinda disappointed by this IPA. Not much flavor, a little watery, I was hoping for something better.... All in all, it’s not terrible, certainy drinkable, but not something i am going to run off and buy again. This is the first beer from Arcadia I have ever bought, have the ESB in the fridge, and after a break I’ll write on that.

First drink I thought it was pretty bad, but after drinking it for a few, it grew on me. Has a strange flavor, couple of friends liked it, some didn’t.

I like this IPA. Its different than most. Very hoppy and tasty. I had it on tap, so perhaps it was different. I’ll get a bottle and rerate it if I notice a significant difference.

a little lighter than pantone 138, sue-bee honey orange. bottle conditioned evidently, i can see how many fingers i’m holding up through the haze, but that’s about it: i pour the chunks right in there, yeah, bring it on. i don’t find it ’intense’ in aroma, melodramatic perhaps, i like the woody smell of the english malt. a pleasure to drink, strong quinine finish. not to contradict the learned mr. gusler, but i neither love nor hate the stuff; it’s pretty decent, way better than a stick in yer eye.

Nice slightly hazy deep amber color, generous beige head, with large sheets of lace. Nose floral and musky malt, front malt, middle full, thick and creamy rich, quite decent hop finish. UUUUMMMM not bad, Fuggles to the max, seems like you love this or hate it? Oh well, I like it, different to be sure.

I suffered through this same beer with the Iceman and I am sorry to say this is the MOST pathetic excuse for an IPA I have ever encountered. Now no one is fool enough to confuse Acardia as a quality brewery but I thought their IPA was absolute shit even for them. Damn this beer, it is a plague on the entire IPA form and should be boycotted by all self respecting beer drinkers!!

Hops are strong in this one. Had a piney aftertaste.

Something went wrong here - the hops come on strong and you think, yup, an IPA to be sure, but the taste lurches awkwardly into a bathroom cleanser chemicality and though there is a hint of decent malt in there, it can’t quite keep up.

For a very long time this was the absolute worst thing i have ever tasted. It took over four hundred different types of beer for me to experience a st ides high gravity lager which is the only beer worse tasting than this.
