COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dry-hopped with Columbus hops in our open fermenters, our IPA boasts a bright floral aroma and flavor reminiscent of pine and lemon peel. The pronounced hop bitterness is balanced by a medium-bodied caramel and biscuity malt character with a nutty finish. It showcases many subtle earthy bitter notes, rather than the resinous citrus-rind bite often featured in many American-style IPAís.

Pours a clear gold with a foamy white head, good lacing. Just a hint of hops in the aroma, more of a caramel malt. Taste is mostly malt up front with a bit of citrus hops at the end. I agree this tastes more like a pale ale than an ipa. For that itís pretty good actually, but for an ipa not my favorite.

Bottled. No clear date. Pours deep honey, white bubbly head. Aroma is sweet malt, sugar, orange, citrus. Flavor is orange, kind of generic ale, slightly bitter, malt. May be old. Or may just not be a very good ipa.

Pours a lightly hazy copper color with a white head. Nose of fruity and citruss hop over light caramel malt. Medium body. Flavor is citrus and fruit over caramel malts. Dry bitter finish. Good drinking.

Bottle. Pungent aroma a mixed bag of earthy/pine hop, spice, caramel, peaches and citrus. Hop content doesnít produce much bitterness but the flavors are quite good. Peach, orange, hop, spice, floral, malt.

This kinda feels like youíre drinking mouth wash or something. It tastes good, but feels weird...

Pours a clear, bubbly amber with a short light beige head. Aroma has caramel, floral hops, bread, and a light grapefruit. The taste is similar to what the nose offers. It has floral hops, caramel some lemon, with hints of grapefruit still noticeable. There really isnít any bitterness in here. Mild yet lingering lemon aftertaste. Medium in body, average in carbonation. Nothing stands out in the texture, so Iíll call it neutral. Overall, this is drinkable, though rather bland.

Pours a cloudy caramel Amber. Aroma is earthy. Taste is grainy malt with a sour note. Mouthfeel is too bubbly. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle poured amber into a pint glass with a finger of head. Nice aroma of hops. This tasted more malty than hoppy with a touch of an astringent after taste. No born on date on the bottle to know if it is beyond its time.

Draft at Brewsterís, Kalamazoo. A little surprised Iíve never rated this. Fairly certain Iíve had this somewhere along the line even though itís not available in MN. Hint of Butterscotch/diacetyl in the nose which seeps into the flavor, however, not in a really bad way. Beautiful artistic, sheet lace. Amber body. Nice Bready finish. In some ways this reminds me of Lucid Foto although Foto is better. Had a bells Two Hearted just before this, which is not really fair as there is no comparison.

a pretty standard IPA. Has a bit of a citrus hop taste with some caramel malts blended in.
