12oz bottle $3.50. Fresh citrus, and grassy notes. Hard to see since restaurant was dark but appeared to be clear dark amber hue with a small off-white head. Weak crispy bitterness flavor. Average mouthfeel. Kind of an average IPA, wouldn’t recommend.

Sep 7, 2008 Bottle - Pours cloudy amber with a decent offwhite head that laces well. Aroma is citrus and hoppy. Sharp in flavor. Citrus and grapefruit with a decent sweet malt background,quite balanced and tasty. I enjoyed this.

Aug 19, 2008 Gold pour, white head. Nice floral hop aroma. A bit sticky in the mouth, some citrus and caramel, metallic. A bit mild on the hops for an IPA. To me, not a whole lot of difference between this and the Anglers. Still good and very drinkable.

Aug 17, 2008 12 ounce bottle in pint glass. Clear yellow gold with lasting ring and lace. Citrus and honey aroma. Mild honey sweetness with very mild fruit and very dry finish with a slight bit of funk, maybe from open fermentation, and a little nuttiness. Medium body and medium carbo. Pretty good and sessionable.

Aug 11, 2008 12 oz. bottle from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville. Reddish orange color with a small head. Citrus and pine aroma with a nice malt background. Very resiny taste. Citrus is very strong. Medium bodied.

Aroma - Peach, apricot, citrus and floral hops
Appearance - Hazy orange, foamy off white head that settles slowly, good lace
Flavor - Leans toward malty with toffee and light fruity sweetness, a light peppery bitterness sneaks in at the fiinish
Palate - Medium body, lsoft carbonation, smoth but faintly sticky
Overall - On the sweet side of the IPA scale, not for hopheads
