12 oz. bottle. Pours hazy orange with big old fizzy head, one fist. Lots of carb. Nose is citrus hops (grapefruit and orange with some caramel notes, rather sweet. Taste is floral and citrus hops with a decent malt backbone, enough to balance out the hop flavor, all of this lazily slinking into a mild to moderate earthy bitter at the end. A mild astringency lurks there also. This all fades to a mild bitter into the after that loses intensity quickly, but lingers for a decent amount of time. A pretty tasty IPA. Nothing extraordinary, but solid.

Aug 19, 2008 Gold pour, white head. Nice floral hop aroma. A bit sticky in the mouth, some citrus and caramel, metallic. A bit mild on the hops for an IPA. To me, not a whole lot of difference between this and the Anglers. Still good and very drinkable.

Aug 17, 2008 12 ounce bottle in pint glass. Clear yellow gold with lasting ring and lace. Citrus and honey aroma. Mild honey sweetness with very mild fruit and very dry finish with a slight bit of funk, maybe from open fermentation, and a little nuttiness. Medium body and medium carbo. Pretty good and sessionable.

Aug 11, 2008 12 oz. bottle from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville. Reddish orange color with a small head. Citrus and pine aroma with a nice malt background. Very resiny taste. Citrus is very strong. Medium bodied.

Aroma - Peach, apricot, citrus and floral hops
Appearance - Hazy orange, foamy off white head that settles slowly, good lace
Flavor - Leans toward malty with toffee and light fruity sweetness, a light peppery bitterness sneaks in at the fiinish
Palate - Medium body, lsoft carbonation, smoth but faintly sticky
Overall - On the sweet side of the IPA scale, not for hopheads

Jul 7, 2008 From a bottle that I was told was about 1 year old: While the nose was nice enough and on the fresh side in the mouth it came off as dried out. Overall, it was nice enough but even guessing at how it would have been fresh, I’ve had plenty of better ones.
