3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma: Pumpkin pie aromas clearly evident, with hints of citrus hops, but not too much.
Appearance: Cloudy orange with no head.
Taste: Medium sweetness throughout with hints of sourness in the finish.
Palate: Medium body, dry texture, soft carbonation, long finish.
Overall: The best pumpkin ale Iíve tasted this season (2013). Itís very pumpkiny, despite having no actual pumpkin in the recipe, with the spice flavors apparent, but tempers it with the hops for great flavor. I really enjoyed this one.

Jaw-jacker reminds one of a wheat ale. It has a slightly sour taste with a hint of spice and citrus.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20
The best thing about this beer is that it looks like apple cider. The smell, oddly similar to over-ripe bananas, is off-putting. The flavor is lacking. Thereís a harsh bite to it (someone on the site called it sour and I agree), which makes it difficult to enjoy.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Has the most pleasing "pumpkin" appearance of any pumpkin ale Iíve ever had: a beautiful, deep rich orange. Not overly sweety, mostly strong spice character stands out than pumpkin flavor. Spice wise, itís more of a ginger/allspice profile than a cinnamon/nutmeg one. Nice nose. Bright on the tongue.

Bottle. Allspice is the predominant aroma. Fairly light palate and the flavor of the spices is pleasant but not overwhelming. Not a bad pumpkin beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at the Belgian Cafe with Pat and Sean Tommy. Pours a murky orange with amazing frothy, lumpy, lasting beige head and erratic soapy lace. Nose of spice - cinnamon and nutmeg, caramel. Thin to medium body a little watery.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
From 12 oz bottle, clear orange copper color with almost no head on an aggressive pour. There is a lot of spice, I get cinnamon and nutmeg clearly, Medium body, slightly, oily, a tinge of spice bitterness, maybe from cinnamon. Malt is bread, similar to pumpkin pie, nutmeg and cinnamon. Interesting take on a ípumpkiní beer.

1.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Bottle. Pours a nice, medium copper color, slight white head. Nose is slightly malty and pie spice... seems promising then goes downhill from there. Mouth is watery and unpronounced up front, then this odd sour-vegetal thing kicks in, with an abundance of cloves (Iím guessing thatís the allspice.... it overwhelmed everything else), then this muted bitterness that was like drinking asprin in water, followed by a soapy finish. Fucking awful.
