COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Jaw-Jacker balances our finest malted barley with a bit-o-wheat and is complimented with a citrus hop kick and just the right amount of cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice for a nice marriage of pumpkin pie and beer. Made in the fall to celebrate the changing of the season.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours orangish with a small off white head. Taste nutmeg, cinnamon, sweet. I thought this was good. I would drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Location: 12 oz bottle from Central Market, 11/10/13

Aroma: The aroma is vegetal and spice, mild pumpkin, and cinnamon
Appearance: It pours a dark orange color, some beige head, and mid-plus lacework
Flavor: The taste is much the same, a little too much vegetal, not enough pumpkin spice
Palate: The body is medium, it has a decent mouthfeel, average carbonation, and a tingly finish
Overall Impression: I wanted this one to be better, but the vegetal flavor overrides the pumpkin spice and makes it a less than stellar example of the style for me.

nice pumpkin spice with a good bit of pumpkin flavor and a fuller body. seems like a pumpkin pudding since the body is thick because of a full frothy foam. the kicker here is a nice grape and citrus fruit punchy hit that comes right before the finish. itís here and then itís gone. pretty snazzy for a pint or so. good stuff.

Bottle. Not what I was expecting (hoping for). Pours the typical autumn colors And has the right aromas. However the taste is very sour (too much citrus) and "thin". Typical pumpkin ales are more full bodied and deep tasting. This one is very IPA-ish and citrusy. Disappointed. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pretty good pumpkin. Easy to drink and not overly spicy. Would drink this anytime! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Folks, do yourselves a favor when drinking and rating this beer and understand what is actually in it (or should I say, what is not). This is NOT a pumpkin ale. Do you know why? It doesnít include any pumpkin! Looks can be deceiving. This beer is made to taste like a pumpkin ale, but it grossly over spiced. I had a hard time even finishing it.

Aroma: Pumpkin pie aromas clearly evident, with hints of citrus hops, but not too much. Appearance: Cloudy orange with no head. Taste: Medium sweetness throughout with hints of sourness in the finish. Palate: Medium body, dry texture, soft carbonation, long finish. Overall: The best pumpkin ale Iíve tasted this season (2013). Itís very pumpkiny, despite having no actual pumpkin in the recipe, with the spice flavors apparent, but tempers it with the hops for great flavor. I really enjoyed this one.

Jaw-jacker reminds one of a wheat ale. It has a slightly sour taste with a hint of spice and citrus. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
