Commercial Description:
Jaw-Jacker balances our finest malted barley with a bit-o-wheat and is complimented with a citrus hop kick and just the right amount of cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice for a nice marriage of pumpkin pie and beer. Made in the fall to celebrate the changing of the season.

12 oz bottle - pours a beautiful cloudy fox-fur hue with a one-finger off-white head that settles to a thin layer but leaves nice lace. Aroma of the three spices listed in the description, with nutmeg being the most prominent, as well as a good deal of C-hop aroma underneath. Nice. Sweet and biscuity right off the bat, very quickly followed by an influx of spice that trails out slowly into a nice sweetness and a touch of alcohol heat. Medium bodied, and not much finish. The second pumpkin ale I’ve had, and I’m beginning to realize that I like the style very much and that it is the perfect beer for the autumn. Pumpkin pie in a glass.

Tried today from Tim’s beer rep. Actually quite nice for a pumpkin ale (with no pumpkin). Very nice balance of flavor. Most pumpkin ales I find to be very seltzery and off in the spice flavor. This is very nice and should be well commended. Tim has done a nice thing with this beer.

Hazy dark orange and copper with a lightly off white head. The aroma had some spicy nutmeg and cinnamon. The pumpkin smell was light with some apples. The taste is definite pumpkin rind with some nutmeg. There is also a little bit of cinnamon. Good for those that like more pumpkin in their pumpkin ale.

Amber colored with small, mostly diminishing head. Sweet caramel malt aroma with subtle cinnamon and ginger spiciness. Spicy flavor, with nutmeg and more ginger. Mildly bitter finish with grainy wheat notes. Flavor quickly wane, leaving behind only a wet grainy aftertaste.
