12 oz bottle
Unknown brewing, notched F3, nutted 02/03.
Medium pour in an English pint.
Poured a hazy reddish brown with a medium off white fizzy somewhat lasting head.
Smelt of strong roasted nuts, light caramel.
Taste was upfront moderate sweet and bitter caramel, nuts and light grassiness followed by a moderate sweet cookie taste and light bitter grass hops on an average length finish. Palate was light to medium bodied, fizzy, oily and lightly astringent.
Overall, nothing special happening here. Just a sweet light brown ale. Refreshing though. reakt (939), Greater London, England

Pours a clear burnt orange with an off white head. Lovely full nose of nuts, chocolate, malts and black cherries. Oak in the taste with a nut dominance. Hints of dark berries and chocolate. Slight bitterness. What a lovely little gem from the city that brings us such wonders as Tony the Tiger.
