COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Nut Brown Ale is a full bodied English-style brown ale with a deep mahogany color. We use six different types of premium malted barley to create a flavor that includes hints of chocolate, raisins, dates and almonds. The malty sweet finish is balanced by a smooth bitterness and a subtle fruitiness in flavor and hop aroma.

Mild nutty aroma, pours a reddish-brown with a thin white head. Thereís a touch of roasted notes and a bit of sweetness, the alcohol is noticeable in this beer, which is surprising considering the low ABV. Itís light on the palate, and drinkable... but there are much better Brown ales out there.

Pours a mahogany color with a fair head. Aroma of malt, chocolate and nuts. Taste of malt, chocolate, bit of nut and caramel. Mild bitterness and a fairly clean finish. Medium body, smooth with nice feel.

355ml bottle. Dark brown pour, quickly receding head. The smell is light and malty, hints of caramel and nuts, but mostly english yeast character. Flavor is fuller, it has dark fruits, light nuttiness, really easy to drink. The beer is just too subdued, a good beer to hand someone who claims they donít like dark beer.

Bottle thnx to hopscotch, cheers! Pours a clear brown beer with a small off white head on top that disappears really quick. Aroma is very malty, light chocolate and bready. Flavor is fairly bitter, some chocolate and roast coffee. Really subtle flavors making this easy to drink but not the greatest beer ever. Still decent though.

Not very consistent from bottle to bottle. Some have been over carbonated. Some taste like a bad walnut. Some are just ok.

12 oz bottle from Giant Eagle on Route 8 in Pittsburgh. This one left a bitter and sour taste in my mouth. Should have been smoother and a bit sweeter. Not on my list for a better brown.

Bottle. Pours a darker brown with a hint of red. Nutty caramel malt scent. Taste is caramel malt, toasted grain, light nuts and some unexpected hoppiness with a light bitter finish. A bit thin bodied, but not bad.

Explodes in the mouth with a fizzy carbonation that is far too much for me. Pouring doesnít seem to do much to rid this brew of excess carbonation...it doesnít pour with much head, yet there is too much fizz in my mouth when I sip it. I like the aroma: malty with tones of caramel, vanilla, and various fruits. Almost citrusy finish, leaving a strong bitter aftertaste. I find the bitterness unpleasant. No discernable roast in the aroma. Seriously, the carbonation in this is out of control...it leaves me feeling like Iím foaming at the mouth and seriously detracts from my enjoyment of this brew. Also leaves a very heavy aftertaste that I found unenjoyable. Too sweet. I would greatly appreciate a drier beer, with less carbonation. Overall poor and I would not drink it again; would even prefer a light or macro brew beer. Drain pour.

bottle. Brown with one finger head. Pretty average brown ale. Caramel malt and some toasted nut.

Has an opaque brown color. A little sour, but not a lot of flavor. Maybe a hint of nut, very little caramel malts. Disappointing.

Not a bad brown ale. Nutty, caramel, subtle chocolate, and dark fruit. Medium bodied, thick head and rich.
