3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Gusler (2654) - Tucson, USA - MAR 7, 2002
Nice deep ruby red, beige head, decent lace. Nose is malt, slight hints of roasted grain. Begins malt sweet, the top thin, the finish is nicely hopped, a bit acidic with light to moderate carbonation, also a tad dry. Drinkable, but nothing to ’Scream About’.

Light brown. Thick head. Drinkable. Not very nutty. Hints of raisen. Average body. I expect more from Arcadia, and I expect more from nut beers.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Nephilium (949) - Ohio, USA - MAR 4, 2012
Mild nutty aroma, pours a reddish-brown with a thin white head. There’s a touch of roasted notes and a bit of sweetness, the alcohol is noticeable in this beer, which is surprising considering the low ABV. It’s light on the palate, and drinkable... but there are much better Brown ales out there.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 uncle_rick (52) - Missouri, USA - FEB 28, 2012
Mahogany pour with a small off white head. Hints of chocolate, raisins, dark fruit. Mild bitterness on the finish. Thin bodied with good carbonation. Decent beer but I will reach for other browns next time I’m in the mood.

Almond and caramel flavor in a medium bodied brew. There was a floral smell and a bubbly palate. There was a deceptively big alcohol taste.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Frank (2054) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 27, 2012
This is a cloudy red brown beer w/ a foamy head. Mild and earthy w/ a hint of sweetness, this is a drinkable brown with mild carbonation. Toffee-like malts dominate w/ a touch of roast and firm, hoppy bitterness in the finish. There is a very slight metallic off-not in the finish but it only bothers me if I look for it and doesn’t hinder drinkability.

draft... light brown, watery tan head... watery brown, boring and forgettable brown but ok
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Markm2151 (111) - toledo, USA - DEC 16, 2011
Small off-white, light brown head. Hazy body that was lightly cloudy. Color was a dark cross between red and amber. There was a light toffee and nutty aroma. The body was medium with a thin texture and average carbonation. Overall, there was good color, light toffee nutty aroma, no bitterness. OK.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 superspak (767) - Michigan, USA - DEC 7, 2011
12 ounce bottle, bottled 10/12/11(I think). Pours hazy reddish brown color with an instant head. Super carbonated as evident upon opening. Turns out to be a fairly dense 2-3 finger light khaki head with insane retention. Obscene amounts of carbonation streaming up from the bottom. Small amount of lacing clinging to the glass as well. Aromas of apple skins, caramel, toasted malt, roasted nuts, and light chocolate. Welp it looks like we have an infection here. Taste of caramel, toasted malt, chocolate, roasted nuts, and light fruitiness. Insanely dry finish with a bit of lingering caramel, chocolate, and fruitiness. Did not seemed so infected in the taste, except for the super dry finish. I swirled out the carbonation; so it ended up having medium carbonation and body. A bit of a creamy mouthfeel, with very smooth drinkability. No alcohol noticed other than a slight warming after the finish. Overall I have to say this: for being infected this was still quite drinkable and minimally offensive. I will probably be picking up another single for a re-review because the price is pretty nice. I have a feeling I will probably like a non infected bottle.
3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Onslow (708) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - NOV 26, 2011
Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Clear reddish-broan brew with frothy off white head. Looks like a cola except the head lasts longer. Aroma of malts, roasted malts, nuts, dark fruit. Taste has a littel sweet at the start, followed by roasted grains, hints of chocolate, a bit of nuttiness, some dark fruit elements. Finsih is lightly bitter with burnt grain overtones. Palate is a little thin. Very good!

Clear reddish brown wit a very large brown head and wispy lacing. Aroma of heavy grains with caramel, nuts, roasted malt and dough. Taste of moderately roasted malts, nuts, chestnut, light chocolate and light maple. Thinner and malty, it’s ok.
