Commercial Description:
Our Nut Brown Ale is a full bodied English-style brown ale with a deep mahogany color. We use six different types of premium malted barley to create a flavor that includes hints of chocolate, raisins, dates and almonds. The malty sweet finish is balanced by a smooth bitterness and a subtle fruitiness in flavor and hop aroma.

12oz bottle. Thick ambery-brown color. Rich, creamy, with a nice chocolaty taste that lingers in the aftertaste. Sweet brown sugar aroma. Very drinkable and refreshing. This is really an excellent Brown Ale, vastly underrated.

on cask at the brewpub. i was convinced i was mad for thinking there was a hint of grapes in this but according to their description i guess i was not too far off base! leave it to the firkin to bring the soul out of a beer. wonderful deep tan hue and lots of fruit, a great nuance for the style. one of the most unique browns ive had and a killer in the cask!

12 oz. bottle from Wine Warehouse. Ruby tinted brown pour, slightly hazy, withe a three finger head. Good retention and nice webs of lacing. Milky aroma with roasted malts and dark fruits. Taste is strong raisin with roasted malts, nuts, brown sugar and a very subtle hop finish. Smooth and medium bodied.
