COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pour this White IPA in a tall glass to showcase its hazy, golden color and dense, creamy head. Rapunzel’s up-front blast of aromatic hops ushers your palate into a balance of crisp, sweet, malt character and lush, juicy hop flavors of pineapple, citrus, and lemongrass. The tart wheat character and effervescent carbonation accent Rapunzel’s light, elegant body while the waves of hop flavor ensure you that you’re drinking a well-crafted brew.

Aroma of malt and some citrus. Malty mess like most of these average beers. Not much of a wheat as I can tell. Pours light orange with a thin cream head. Bleh

Pours a cloudy, light, amber color. Aroma is light with some wheat, caramel malts, and a hint of caramel malts. Flavor is hoppier than I expected. Wheat and caramel malts are also on the finish.

Orange-Amber color lots of lace. Hop, wheat, barley aroma. Flavor is substantially less exciting than the sky high rye. Less bite, more hop and not as balanced. Malt heavy.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a copper colored beer with a thin white head. The aroma is hops, wheat and yeast. The Taste is hops and wheat and is pretty good.

Sample 7/19/14 (Naperville Ale Fest)-Pours a hazy golden with a small head. Aroma of wheat and citrus. Taste of the same with some grass coming in. This light bodied brew did not come across as an IPA but more of a wit beer.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Cloudy dark amber color, off-white head, splashes of lace. Aroma of malt. Taste is malt (maybe a little wheat) that grows into a burst of strong carbonation and light citrus on the swallow, followed by medium bittering which is, none-the-less, able to cover everything else through a medium finish. Fair.

Hoppy with wheat, balanced with a mild creaminess. Frothy head (like on a coffee with a frothy milk). Medium body, golden color. Overall, very good.

bottle - Hazy gold pour, smells of wheat malt and mild citrus... it tastes moderately bitter with a touch of citrus, some yeast, and wheat. It’s alright.

Bottle: Hazy amber with a puffy, off-white head. Aroma is slightly sour, grapefruit-peel, lemon. Taste is almost lactic...floral, grapefruit-peel, citrus and wheat malt. Not bad...but a little washed out in parts.

Cloudy carrot juice orange color. The aroma is almost non-existent. Just a touch of wheat, needs agitation. When you aerate it, there is a Creamsicle quality to it. The taste is mild orange, but like orange candy. Very sugary. The hops are just barely there. There is a marshmallow sugaryness to it. Scotch tape? Batteries? Feels pillowy soft. It’s not bad, just not good.
