1.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Smells like dull ipa. Looks like a darker clear hefe. On the tongue, very uncivilized from the start. Taste is big dull bitter hop thing. A little too much for this lager lovers taste buds. Just call this ipa will ya, possibly even double ipa. Forget about white, that is a misnomer. This is simply an imperial IPA, that is terribly syrupy & on style. Says 5.8% but this comes across more like 7%. Not impressed. Forgettabout it.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Aroma is mostly mild sour earth and pine hop and some malt. Smells like it will be dry. Pours medium hazy orange. Flavor is some fruity malt. Like pineapple and mango followed by some caramel sweetness. It finishes more crisp than bitter and leaves more residual sweetness than dry resins. More of an English Style IPA than West Coast Style. It is not bad, but I prefer these beers to be hop strong

Looks good but ends there. Aroma not too strong. Kind of a milky palate. Donít care for the taste too much.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Pours dark golden. Small white head. Some lacing. Unusual aroma of wheat and citrus. Flavor is bitter wheat. Bitter finish. Iím not a fan of wheat IPAís. I really like Arcadia, but this is a weird style that I canít get into.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: The aroma consists of light-moderate melon, light citrus, cotton candy, faint florals, and wheat. It pours a mostly transparent golden-orange with a touch of haze. It has a two finger white head that leaves some sporadic thin webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with light-moderate melon and light citrus. The finish has light-moderate floral notes, light lemon, lemon peel, bubblegum, and faint pepper. Itís light-medium bodied with moderate carbonation and a somewhat soft mouthfeel.

2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Meh....nothing special here, but nothing bad either. Aroma was pretty weak. Had to put the whole nose in the glass to pick up lemon, grapefruit and grass. Pour was a nice light gold with plenty of bubbles and a thin white film for a head. Taste was a little watery and flat. The lemon and grass were there with very little carbonation. A slightly citrus hoppy finish was there, but felt watered down.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
bottle. Golden with one finger head. Mild wheat beer thatís been hopped up a bit. I think rating this as an IPA is not quite fair. Hops are fresh and crisp. For a wheat beer, this is a nice one.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This bills itself as a wheat IPA and nowadays that makes me expect a white IPA of some sort but this is a straight-up American IPA brewed w/ some wheat in the grist--and a pretty good one too. It is slightly hazed golden orange in the glass and has a white head of fine white bubbles w/ a few ropes of lace here and there. Itís nose is lots of melon and some floral tones. This is a nice, dry IPA that drinks very easily w/ its brisk carbonation. The dryness highlights the citrus rind bitterness in the finish and helps keep the medium bodied texture from becoming sluggish. This is a tasty IPA overall, definitely one Iíd buy regularly if it was local.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 ounce bottle into pint glass; no bottle dating, but is a recent release. Pours lightly hazy bright gold color with a 2 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of lemon zest, lime, grapefruit, tangerine, floral, grass, pine, wheat, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of bright citrus/floral hops and light-moderate pale malt balance; with solid strength. Taste of lemon zest, lime, grapefruit, tangerine, citrus rind, floral, grass, pine, wheat, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon zest, lime, grapefruit, tangerine, citrus rind, floral, grass, pine, wheat, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and balance of bright citrus/floral hops and light-moderate pale malt sweetness; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and fairly sticky/bready mouthfeel that is nice, Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very good wheat IPA. All around nice balance and complexity of citrus/floral hops and light-moderate pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.
