3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Location/Date:Bottle on February 10th, 2013.
Appearance: Pours a nice dark yellow haze.
Aroma: Aroma mostly of light lemon, faint pepper.
Taste: Medium light bitterness, rye, some lemon, some pepper, bready on the end.
Palate:Light body, light fizz, medium aftertaste that is somewhat sweet.
Summary: This beer is truly a rye pale ale, although the amount of lemon makes it kind of interesting to me. A solid beer but not exemplary.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a head of almost all foam finely sized white colored bubbles that were and left behind a softly carbonated hazy dark yellow colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The mild aroma was rye and dough. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish with a bitter aftertaste. The mild flavor contained notes of rye dough and hops. An OK brew just nothing special.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a dark yellow gold, citrus notes are the first to hit your nose, the bitterness of the hops combined with the rye aftertaste is a great balance.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
On tap @ BWW. Golden in color with a thin white head. Smells of citrus hops. Taste follows suite. Palate is long that starts with hops and ends with dry rye. Great lacing left behind. Overall this is a great beer. A must try.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
This is an excellent rye. Maybe one of the best Iíve had. Tropical fruit and pepper aroma. Thick, soapy, white head and a cloudy yellow appearance. A few too many particulates in this one to warrant a higher rating on that account. Tastes of white pepper, bitter (almost astringent) unripe citrus fruit.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Location: 12 oz bottle from Sparrow-Downtown, 12/16/12
Aroma: The nose has some citrus, rye bread, some caramel, and a little spice
Appearance: Pours a clear golden-orange color with a foamy, lasting white head and lace streaks
Flavor: It tastes lightly sweet, fairly bready/malty, rye is definitely present, and it finishes lightly bitter
Palate: Light-medium bodied, has a fairly crisp early feel, with a clean, dry, bready feel to the finish
I found this one to be quite solid. It really does serve the purpose as a a clean, drinkable Rye APA. It may not be an blow you out of the water beer, and it may have suffered here because I just rated a world class APA (MO), but I really donít have too many complaints at all. This is quality stuff.

This is a nice crisp, clean, refreshing beer. It has a light citrus hop finish. This is a good session beer.
