COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Thunder Trail ESB (6.0% ABV): stays true to our English Brewing Heritage. With a strong backbone of Maris Otter and Crystal malts, this Extra Special Bitter is balanced by earthy, spicy, English hops. Our Ringwood yeast strain imparts a dis-tinctly fruity character that is accented by dry-hopping with a modest amount if Palisade hops. We hope you enjoy this quality session ale—wherever the Trail may take you.

Nice and easy summer beer. Simple with a light body with a hint of earthly smell to it. Went down easy

Hazy reddish-brown pour with a white head. The aroma is balanced with malty notes and herbal hops. It has a light, crisp body with lively carbonation. The taste is bittersweet with a mild finish.

Draft to taster at Arcadia in Kalamazoo. Looks good for the style; a transparent pale copper with foamy eggshell head. Smells mildly sweet and hoppy with a touch of grain. Tastes like it smells with mild fruity notes from the hops. Average on the palate. Not bad.

Orange pour with white head. Aroma is musty. Taste is musty citrus and a bit sour. Not bad at all.

Draft. The pour is a bright deep red, with a thick full head. The aroma is light and crisp. The taste is refreshing, but a little bland. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Zippy carbonation, good fruity esters, mild english hops, ttally not to style imo but a really nice beer.

Pours a hazy amber with a fair khaki head that leaves some dripping, spotty lace. Nose involves tart, doughy English yeast, flowers and herbs, and lemony citrus notes. Lightly sweet, somewhat bitter, some tartness. Full-medium body, softer carb, with a long tart and grainy finish. Drinkable, refreshing, nuanced, and quite enjoyable.

Excessively big head, as Arcadia beers tend toward from my past experience. Aroma is fruit and malt. Taste is tangy fruit and malt. Much truer to the English ESB styles than most American examples: red fruits and somewhat bitter without being over-bitter, floral, or citrusy, which are hallmarks of the American pale ale styles. I think they did a good job with this.

Aroma is fruit, biscuit malts and toffee. The flavor is toffee, fruit, malts, a hint of butterscotch and a lightly spicy/tangy finish.
