Strykzone (1334), Wood River, Illinois, USA May 12, 2009 A light amber colored beer with a very small head that was a few shades lighter than the beer. Sweet and fruity describes the nose. Nectarine is the first thing tasted and it is bitter sweet. Wheat flavors seep in late and never come close to matching the fruit. There is little effervescence but some spiciness tingles the tongue just a bit. It finishes with a spicy flourish Headbanger (1356), Aurora, Illinois, USA May 9, 2009 Updated: May 11, 200912oz bottle 5/9/09 (Binny’s Plainfield)-Pours a goldenish amber with a small covering for a head.
