Spicy, peppery, coriander-like aroma with a tad of citrus going on as well. A little bit of doughiness is there as well. Mild to moderate hazy honey color with a huge huge fluffy white head. Takes forever for the head to settle. The bottle initially overflowed on opening as well.Very sweet, sugary honey-like start, turning a little spiced and peppery in the middle. A bit of lemons later on before the sweet, sticky, cloying honey comes back. This is almost a mead, for Pete’s sake. Terminus (1955), Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA

Hazy particulate orange with a froathy white topping. dark looking for the style. nose of lemons, slight sourness, citric qualities, and even some malt backbone. bigger malt profile than expected for the style. has some belgian-esque qualities akin to a belgian ale. really quite different than most wit beers. i guess they changed the recipe because the tap version i had at the brewery was awful! jerc (3888), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Very light bitterness and mild malt flavour. Average palate. A summer quaff, fairly light and simplistic but not unpleasant. Nate (2538), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 22, 2006 Mild wheat aroma. Alittle bit sweet but mostly neutral fruits and some light fruity hops. Pale orange-amber clear with thin head that dissipates quickly. Medium watery body with medium-high carbonation. Starts a bit sweet with OK malt. Mild fruity undertones. Light alcohol. A bit watery with the shell of a Belgian or wheat beer - not too strong of esters or citrus. A little bitter at the finish with dry after and some yeast. Indra (2026), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jun 26, 2006 12oz. bottle. Sweet, fruity aroma, plenty of wheat noted along with suggestions of honey, citrus, yeast spice and lightly toasted malts. Hazy medium orange color, hazy and sedimented with a lasting, fine, off-white head. Flavor is lightly tart and citric to start, middle is sweet and sugary while a blend of banana, bubblegum and still-lingering sweetness brings things to a close, accompanied by a hint of acidity. Mouthfeel is well-carbonated and a little thin, body is light-medium. Interesting in its way, but a bit too sweet for my taste to act effectively as a summer quencher. Unfiltered appearance like a wheat ale should have. Flavor has that sweet-fruity tartness that we all love in a wheat. Finishes clean and quenching. While not my favorite style, this one satisfies. The aroma is sweet wheaty with notes of oranges, and a dusty hoppy note. The flavor is sweet wheaty with clear orange notes, leading to a dry wheaty end. Quite nice. joss (3655), Garching b.
