Commercial Description:
Arcadia Whitsun is a modern interpretation of a mid-19th century English spring and summer festival ale. It is light golden in color with a rich, creamy head, full bodied and has a lightly toasted caramel flavor. The addition of Michigan star thistle honey contributes a uniquely smooth drinkability to this unfiltered wheat ale.

Hazed orange tan body with a thick fluffy head. Nice spicy nose that while a touch soapy is enjoyable with light clove, chamomile, a bit of salt and pepper, and orange peel. Nicely carbonated flavor of sweet fruit: lemon, pear, orange, and a bit of wheaty banana in there too. The spices make this beer. It is great on a summer day when I am out cavorting on a 4 wheeler, or grilling up some formerly active and happy woodland creature, or just shooting the shit on the back porch. Nice lingering lemon spice. Ap-4 ar-7 tas-7 pal-4 ov-16

Swampy yellow witha white head. Aroma is raisins, sweet honey and vanilla, pepper. Flavor is bananas and wheat...and some of this nasty arcadia paper alcohol taste. Mouthfeel is uber dry.

Pours hazy dark gold with small white head that turns into patches. Smooth rich wheat aroma with a bit of spice. Starts with light citrus and hints of apricot and lightly husky wheat. Finish is a mix of the spice, hoppy bitterness and a bit of sourness. A nice unique version of an American wheat. Definitely worth giving a try.

Pretty funky aroma, not so good. once it airs out it has a lot of banana aroma. Lots of aroma in the flavor too. Flavor is sweet and alcoholic. Not good.

my initial impression of both the aroma and the taste was that i didn’t like it. therefore, i wouldnt’ buy a 6pack of it. however, rating critically, it’s at least pretty interesting. metallic, not much hops in the aroma, but some banana. kinda flat tasting, almost an aspartame flavor though it’s not particularly sweet. some apple aroma.

Pours ruddy dark straw/amber colored with little head. The aroma is biscuity malt, some hopcitrus, and some fruit. The flavor is malty, citric, amd has floral spicy notes, plus some tangerine. Medium palate. Not bad.

Lightly lazy peach/gold color with a vigorously thick head that dissipates slowly. This actually began overflowing the bottle as soon as I opened it. Thin wisps of lacing. The aroma is mildly malty with a bit of floral hops and fruit. Light-bodied with citrusy hops and wheat flavors. The finish is crisp and fruity with a yeast/wheat aftertaste. Light and straightforward, it’s a decent summer brew.

Bottle: Light orange color, small white head. This really reminded me of the banana flavored Runts candy. Especially in the flavor. On top of that there was quite a bit of warming. This was decent, and I probably wouldn’t have tried it had it not been for a random purchase by a friend.
