Murky, dark wheat-colored body with a tight sudsy white head that left some notable lace. Aroma of oranges, floral honey and yeasty spice. Sweet wheat and orange peel flavor with some spice notes and wood stem flavor and bitterness. Low acidity. Decent and refreshing. TomDecapolis (3150), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 17, 2006 Poured with a fairly dark gold and orange body. The head was slightly off white. I could see yeast in the bottle, but none came out. The aroma was apple cobbler along with some caramel. The taste was tart with some light lemons and a little bit of toffee. Actually, this is a decent American wheat that is not like any other I have had. It got more tart as I went through the glass. JMerritt (1316), Macomb, Illinois, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Dec 19, 2005 Amber in color, clear, with a small white head that is mostly diminishing. Caramel/toffee aroma - is this a wheat beer? Mildly sweet, brown sugar flavor, some light toast, but sweetness is bordering on cloying. Possibly a very old bottle, but with no datestamp, how am I to know? robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA

Seemed a Bit Stale...Bottle Probably Didn’t Fare Well..but It Still Has Hints that it Could be a Potentially Refreshing Summer Brew. ehhdayton (1113), USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 19, 2005 The aroma is lightly fruity. Whitsun pours a cloudy yellow with a large, long lasting, frothy, white head. The flavor is somewhat fruity sweet with a light bitter finish. badgerben (3596), Blaine, Minnesota, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 4, 2005 Hazy gold color with a medium head. Holy corriander! That spice makes a head on appearance in the aroma and taste. More orange flavor, but something like rotten wheat finished it out. An unfortunate end. DarkElf (2681), La Jolla, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 2, 2005 (12 oz bottle: Obtained in trade with Sully, thanks Mike) Massive carbonation release when opening the bottle, a glass full of very bubbly head, and dozens of steady streams of quickly-moving carbonation bubbles, so this is going to take awhile to settle down. Light orange in color and fully cloudy, I can’t believe how long this show is lasting, will the bubbles ever subside? At least they are doing a great job of mixing in the final few yeasty drops from the bottle. Well, the beer smells more like a witbier than an American wheat, but it’s not exactly a coriander smell either. It smells lightly sweet, fairly herbal, and somewhat floral. The flavor tastes similar to a witbier as well, some orange citrus perhaps, rather herbal, a little like coriander, but not spicy per se. Surprising for a wheat beer, but I’m also picking up a fair amount of sweet, caramely maltiness in the background. Nevertheless, the herbal character is easily the most prominent aspect of the flavor. Body is medium (or maybe just slightly less than medium), so it’s heavier than just about every American wheat I’ve tried. Overall, it’s an interesting take on the style, and I certainly welcome the variation from what is normally a boring and unpleasant beer style, but in the end, it’s not really grabbing me either.
