Slightly hazy golden color, decent white head. Sweet honey and light caramel flavor, just enough hop flavor and bitterness to provide balance. Medium body. A really nice summer beer, more going on than in a typical American wheat. jewedekind (450), Middleton, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Jun 9, 2005 Pours a foamy white head, big fruity, sweet aroma. Head lingers throughout. Firsy tastes are vinegar and weeds. A bad/old bottle(?). A much more pleasant malt taste follows, but it’s hard to lose that bad lactobaccillus taste.. Pretty bad. Medium body with sweet finish. Flavor was full with citrus and wheat sweet. Good American Wheat. Cornfield (4928), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 4, 2005 Fairly decent, pouring a cloudy amber body with a thin, fizzy white head. The aroma is bready malt along with a dash of honey sweetness and some lemony acidity. It’s got a toasty taste with a bit of spiciness. The finish is fairly clean and crisp. Good warm weather fare. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 31, 2005 Bottle 12oz - Pours cloudy amber with a short white head. Aroma is of wheat bread and a hint of spice. Taste is caramel, apricots and some spice. I really thought that this was a Belgian Wit until I saw the style above. I believe that it has more of the characteristics of one. It is light and crisp on the palate and refreshing for after mowing the lawn. SpudClampDawg (1027), Jasper, Indiana, USA

The body is crisp and refreshing, hinting on dough, caramel, apricot and vanilla bean. The finish is drawn out, dry and fuity. Yet another good brew from Aracadia. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | May 11, 2005 A solid orange color, under a fine, whitish head, with numerous micro, and some not so-micro-scopic "floaties" zipping about...yikes!
Aroma: odd. fruity, peach and nectarine, apricot, but it feels a touch plastic, rubbery...caramelly...reminds me of certain NW hops, but put to strange use...
something ill-fitting in this nose. Enough, let’s taste...
That plastic/rubber thing I can’t put my finger on is there again, in the taste...might be the yeast they use, but it dominates the texture of this brew.
Full-bodied, big -time fruit, mucho maltiness, not much from hops, an easy traveller over the esophagus...but lacks something...drinks easy, for sure, but misses ...I don’t know...character? That’s what I’ll call it...
not bad, actually, just needs some ZING! to make me, or anyone with taste, stand up and salute. As it is, it ain’t happenin’...

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 24, 2005 Tap: dark cloudy orange with big white head. Very spicy yeast aroma and flavor. A little honey and orange, but mostly pepper. Finishes spicy sweet. Little surprised by the score. This has always been about as good as their competitors’ summer wheat, just doesn’t have the same following.
