Commercial Description:
Arcadia Whitsun is a modern interpretation of a mid-19th century English spring and summer festival ale. It is light golden in color with a rich, creamy head, full bodied and has a lightly toasted caramel flavor. The addition of Michigan star thistle honey contributes a uniquely smooth drinkability to this unfiltered wheat ale.

Cloudy organic orange body, not much for head or carbonation. Banana and tobacco in the aroma. The flavor has a pleasant sweet start with old hops and grain husk in the finish. Enjoyable.

Light wheat aroma. Cloudy orange body lacking any head or lace. Slightly stale hop taste. Only ok.

Bemusing pale golden yellow, thin but lasting off-white cap, minimal spotty lacing. Nose includes some pale wheat sweetness, unsharp and dullish, yet crisp and fruity with touches of banana and orange and a speck of phenolic spice. Taste has some nice wheat flavors that have been dulled down and pale with a grainy sweetness, a bit grassy or husky. Lighter fruity tones mix with banana and pear, smidgoens of lemon - some sips hold a finish of phenolic spice of clove and medicine while others just dry out with a banana grainy husk. An intersting and easy-to-take-in appeal to its character, its not over the top or weak, its just kinda there with a subdueing presense and acceptability. Feel is lighter then medium but not overly light in body. Smooth, somewhat crisp and slightly drying in the finish. Sweetly dulling and even more so with lighter, depressed spices. Quaffable and easy going. Not a bad brew at all, but its no Gumballhead.

Hazy dark golden liquid. Cream colored dense head with some nice lace. Sweet wheat and mild orange aroma. Nearly too clean and soft on the nose. Crisp lagerlike start, which is quickly taken back by a yeast, orange and dry spice. Really quick change of pace there. Dry honey finish. An interesting cross between an american wheat and a belgian wit. A touch lighter on the palate and this is a great summer brew.

light aroma a bit on the sour side. Deep golden color is inviting, bitter aftertaste hangs on a little to long.

Great aroma of sweet wheat and sour hops with all the spice backing it up. Head is tremendous with great lacing. One of the darkest wheats I’ve seen with a light amber color and a near pale ale mystic to the flavor that is more in the hops than in the malt. It goes down very smooth with a clean crisp palate. Lemon, corriander and butterscotch with light candy sugar but nothing overbearing. A well crafted beverage.

Medium hazy golden-orange, with a soft head. Smells wheaty and apricotty. Extra bitter bite- snazzy - slight fruit with a lot of wheat. A decent brew, but nothing mindblowing.
