COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Arcadia Whitsun is a modern interpretation of a mid-19th century English spring and summer festival ale. It is light golden in color with a rich, creamy head, full bodied and has a lightly toasted caramel flavor. The addition of Michigan star thistle honey contributes a uniquely smooth drinkability to this unfiltered wheat ale.

Bottle from Save On. Pale coudy caramel color with small head. Caramel/toffee/honey bready aroma. Medium sweet caramel apple with mild fruity wheat tang and slick oily caramel finish. Medium body. THis is probably the worst style of beer IMHO. Give me a well-made pale lager over this any time.

Can. Orange, coriander, and wheat malt aroma. Golden yellow with nice head. Sweet orange, coriander, wheat malt and light herbal flavor. A good summer beer.

Orange aroma, similar to Oberon. Very mild but tasty. Very good. Citrus taste but not overpowering. Delicious.

Its got a great golden color. Light bodied and smooth. Some citrus and orange notes. Refreshing wheat ale for the summer.

on tap @ Bluebeard -- cloudy medium gold, wheaty and orange aroma, a little soapy, wheat and orange peel flavours, low bitterness, medium sweetness. Not getting the honey.

minimal head, white foam, cloudy, amber, orange appearance. Bread, floral, citrus, dough, earthy aromas. medium sweetness, lightly bitter taste. medium body, oily feel, creamy, average carbonation, long finish. Had this one out of a can! Not a bad beer. Arcadia’s version of Oberon (yes yes I know they are different). Almost a pop art feel.

Bottle. Pour is true to the style, golden orange, unfiltered but with a fast fading head. Smell is orange and spice with some dankness to it. Like overripe bananas maybe. Taste has that same funkiness to it, like something's slightly off. I get the orange and the wheat but thus other flavor that I can't identify dominates.

Unfortuneately extremely generic wheat ale, not really a witbier, i guess in the league of a brooklyn summer but not as nice.

Whitsun pours a mostly cloudy with a sunset orange yellow color with creamy off-white head that lasts decently. The aroma is somewhat faint, but there's a roasty caramel and orange with honey. The flavor is caramel with honey and toasted bread. Overall this is a fairly average beer, but it's not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a hazy light brown/orange with a small white head that disappears quickly. Aroma is mostly coriander with some orange. Flavor is a smooth blend of sweet orange, coriander, and wheat. This does have a light body feel, but it is also crisp and refreshing. I thought this was a rather tasty beer that I would gladly pick up again.
