Commercial Description:
Arcadia Whitsun is a modern interpretation of a mid-19th century English spring and summer festival ale. It is light golden in color with a rich, creamy head, full bodied and has a lightly toasted caramel flavor. The addition of Michigan star thistle honey contributes a uniquely smooth drinkability to this unfiltered wheat ale.

An unclear beer with a thin disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet wheaty with notes of oranges, and a dusty hoppy note. The flavor is sweet wheaty with clear orange notes, leading to a dry wheaty end. Quite nice.

(I suspect this is an old bottle, but there is no date on it) Small off white head atop hazed amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, toffee, light orange. Taste is moderately sweet, toffee, some earthy, orange, light lemon. Medium body, some acidity. Not bad, but certainly not what I was expecting from an American Wheat.

12oz bottle shared courtesy of DenverLogan (who mentioned this bottle may have been ~2 years old). Poured a medium golden color with a larger sized white head. Aromas of orange peels, yeast, and lemony. Tastes of some wheat, oranges, and light spices. Tastes were on the sweeter side. Lively body.

Super Bowl beer! Not much time to talk, but... The nose holds grapefruit and lime. The color is a murky peach. Malty, fuzzy and citrus fruit and honey flavors. Medium to full-bodied with a watery mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Short, lightly sweet, lightly pungent finish with clover honey at the wee end. Very nice wheat beer!

Lightly cloudy golden with a thick white head. Aroma is a light mixture of malt and hops with little noticeable spice. Body follows suit. Mellow, semi-sweet and smooth with a spinkling of citrus. A bland and uninteresting wheat beer.

Tap at Barcade. Deep amber beer. Lovely wheaty aroma with a softly toasted maltiness as well. Light munichy sweetness with a bit of lemony citrus as well. Flavour is fairly bready, with a nice sweet toasted malt character and a faintly minerally bitterness. Fairly herbal/floral hop flavour with a lingering wheaty spiciness. A hint of apple on the back. Nice character for an American wheat.

Bottle. Very cloudy yellow and orange with a clinging tan and white head. Very spicy yeast flavor, peppery and sweet on the tongue. Flavor is peppery with a decent wheat sourness throughout the drink. Mildly tart, estery, with some banana and wheat and peach rind in the flavors. Very lively and bubbly on the tongue. Good stuff, a proper wit in my opinion.
