I liked this one slightly more than Mrs. Prosqtor, who proclaimed it not wheaty enough. Cidery-sweet flavor and yet smooth and drinkable. A nice balance to the IPAs, ESBs, and EPAs I drank two nights ago! chronictonic (404), Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania, USA

On tap it poured a rich, orange red color with a slightly off white head. Aroma was tart and citrusy with strong notes of orange peel. Medium flavor body with noticeable flavors of orange peel and some very trace honey flavors. Crisp hop finish. No real wheat qualities that I could detect. jonwayne4883 (401), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 6, 2006 Nice thick head that lasts fairly long. Pours a brown-orange color that isn’t very appealing. Sweet apple and coriander aroma is offset by strong alcohol notes. The palate is very one dimensional, like a sam adams. Tastes like an ok whit but nothing is pronounced and the flavor is merely average. I wouldn’t bother with this one again. awiseman01 (391), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA

Tap at Arcadia, shared taster (hands down best taster offering I’ve ever had...a total of 9-3oz pours for $7.99). Pours murky brown/orange. Faint yeast nose followed by light wheat taste. Just ok. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 18, 2005 Peach gold color with a quite opaque look. Aroma is malty and somewhat herbal, slightly sharp. Very oaken, piney flavor with lots of caramel malt and wheat showing through. Rather cloying finish, perhaps just a bit too much of that honey is used. Overall this seems more like a heavier Fraoch Heather Ale than a summer festival ale, but I still recommend trying it if you come across it. Hudspart (374), Hudsonville, Michigan, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jul 11, 2002 This is generally a very likable summer brew. The wheat flavor is perceptible but does not predominate. Definite citrus overtones. In the past, I have bought this beer and thought it tasted slightly of grape koolaid (sounds strange, but I don’t know how else to describe it.) Not quite the beer to drink in the middle of a hot day. But perfect for a warm summer night just after sunset.
