dukefan (160), Aurora, Illinois, USA Apr 17, 2008 A pleasant Belgian Wit that goes down well in the summer. Nice flavors of orange and a hint of spice balance well with the wheat backbone.
RileyOBaba (31), , Ohio, USA Jun 27, 2008 ......a somewhat hazy, mid-gold wheat ale.....fresh in bottle....and good tasting....good any time, but best on deck in sun 17thfloor (561), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jun 26, 2008 Pours a light caramel color with some gleaming bubbles and a nice medium creamy off-white head. Lots of caramel in the aroma a la pyramid amber-weizen. Nice flavor Caramel and wheat malts... sweet and spicy, much better than the amber-weizen. Medium body, fuller mouthful, with nice but subtle carbonation. A wheat ale for ale drinkers. kmeves (967), Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA Jun 22, 2008 Pours a slightly hazed amber with a small off white head. Aroma is medium sweet, toffee, light orange and spice. Flavor is toffee, earthy, orange, light lemon and very strong coriander. Medium body, thin texture.
jeremyd365 (59), Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA Jun 17, 2008 Appearance- pours pretty cloudy copper with a thin head that disappeared very quickly.
smell- very pleasant smell! It smells more spicy rather than fruity though--not what I was expecting.
taste- A pretty good wheat: I can taste the hint of fruitiness and some sort of the spiciness that I could smell.
mouthfeel/drinkability- Feels pretty bubbly and can sense the spice before swallowing. Goes down smooth. Not bad at all. scraff (1602), Baltimore, Maryland, USA Jun 16, 2008 Dark amber, thin fizzy white head. Nose held soft notes of toasted caramel and candied orange peel. Sweet citrus flavors ride light caramel and honey tones throughout. Light to medium bodied, fizzy carbonation, soft sweet finish. Interesting stuff, but the sweetness got to me...
