Probiere (992), Iowa, USA Jan 1, 2008 Extremely mild and nondescript, light floral notes with possibly some corrianderbut more likely an herbal hop note. Slightly sweet, large fizzy disappearing head, and watery finish.
ucusty (1210), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Oct 5, 2008 Hazy orange to yellow pour. Citrus and caramel on the nose. Light bodied with notable hints of pear, apple and spice. hombrepalo (500), Chicago, Illinois, USA Sep 19, 2008 12 oz bottle. Beautiful hazy golden yellow in color. Aroma of citrus and toffee. Taste is caramel, apricots and some spice. Medium body with sweet finish. The finish is fairly clean and crisp. WakeandBake (89), Greenville, Michigan, USA Sep 9, 2008 Bottle. Cloudy orange pour, with small white head. Sort of an odd aroma, like apple/orange,maybe some spice, flavor was much the same for me. I sampled this twice, and came up with the same thing each time, just something here I am not liking much,. Arcadia has much better products than this one. Sorry not for me. bhensonb (3005), Woodland, California, USA Sep 7, 2008 Bottle from Vintage Cellar. Hazy amber color with a frothy beige head. It’s got Xmas spice aromas. Near medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is spicy, but it’s got a little dirty graininess. Seems to be some ginger or similar. It gets better with time. Tastes like it came from Belgium. Spice takes over at the finish. Interesting drink. Bet it was a hit in 1850. timsilvia32 (244), from Michigan now in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA Aug 19, 2008 Cloudy gold pour. Some citrus/honey maybe ginger or allspice aromas. Plenty of citrus with some caramel, some other spices not quite sure. Pretty light bodied, with enough hops for a pretty clean finish. I don’t normally care for wheats, but this one is ok. A small step up from the normal bore of a weizen.
