2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 TrefwoordPunk (660) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - JAN 4, 2008
Bottle 33 cl, expiration date: dec 98. Pours a light brown with a tiny and fading white head and sweet malty and caramellic aroma. The flavor is at first pretty sweet, caramel, honey, ripe fruits and candy sugar. But than a more sour note, like vinegar comes in, maybe because of the age. The finish is both nice malty sweet as unpleasant sourish. I doubt about this one and will try a fresh one in the future

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Sweet grainy and alcoholic nose with some mild fruityness. Flavour is very much the same with some grainyness and grassyness added. Is this the Malt Liquor of ales?
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 sayravai (4548) - Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 18, 2007
(Bottled, thanks oh6gdx!) Slightly hazy golden with a small head. Sweetish and grainy with honeyish alcohol. Sweetish and grainy flavor with honeyish alcohol. Well, at least the aroma and flavor match :). Medium-bodied with a bit fizzy carbonation. Is this a cheap Belgian Ale or a decent malt liquour...?

Bottle thanks oh6gdx: Poured a golden color with white head. The aroma was fruit almost wine, with fair amount of alcohol. The taste was dried fruit with slight hops.
