COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Beer Archa was first launched in July 2004 to expand the market share, particularly in the standard and premium product groups, and to respond to increasing demands from a new generation of beer drinkers who prefer smooth beer with lower alcohol content. Beer Archa thus serves as another alternative for beer drinkers.

Appearance: Golden and clear with a quickly disappearing, frothy head. Aroma: A little metallic and soapy. Not very pleasant, but typical for a Thai brew. Taste: Horrible. Something like cough medicine and steel. Light body and thin texture. Lots of carbonation but a funky aftertaste that’s sort of stale and moldy. Not worth it.

Pours a pale golden, slight yeasty aroma, moderate bitter yeast flavor which quickly recedes. Ok for fluid hydration but not much to offer otherwise.

Bomber. After living in Thailand for six months, I was really not a beer expert but I definitely could tell the difference between the major lagers available: Tiger (best), then Leo (supposedly inferior to Singha and made by the same brewery), Chang (but the added alcohol is nasty), then normal Singha, which blows. But Archa is the worst of all of them. This was shared by a bunch of us in Khon Kaen, Thailand- one of my favorite places. The beer is a little sulphury, garbage, tinny, bland. Really nothing there with some major brewing flaws. Never tried it again. Leo in the can is the shit when you’re in Thailand.

Bottle. Pours clear pale yellow colored with almost no head. Wow this is bad.. Very weak aroma - notes of citrus and dust. Flavors of fruit and water. This is a really weak beer - excellent substitute for water..

Medium coarseish shiny head doesn’t last. Yellow body. Floral apple malts aroma. Dryish mealy strawy taste with bready notes. Mid-bodied. Dry grassy empty aftertaste. It’s not bad, but very bland. (0.33l can, gift.)
