1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 jgb9348 (3490) - Arlington (Pentagon City), USA - AUG 15, 2010
Clear golden body with a thinnish, fast-dying white head. Aroma of corn, malt & metal. Light-bodied; Assertive corn and cereal flavour with a touch of rice and subtle metal. Aftertaste is relatively mild, only showing some malt and metal, with no real harsh flavours - less bitter than Chang. Overall, a typical Thai lager, but perhaps a bit better than some (Chang), and not as good as Singha. I sampled this 640 mL bottle purchased earlier today at 7-11 in Karon Beach, Phuket, Thailand sampled here on the island on 15-August-2010.

33cl can in Bangkok. Light golden colour with a white head. Lightly matly with just a hint of bitterness. The usual South-East Asian lager. Quite boring, but also quite drikable in the heat when it’s served ice cold!

Can, shared by GrOve. The palest yellow body, under a layer of tiny blond bubbles. Malt drops and wet cardborard aroma. Unfresh sour-sweet malt/adjunct flavor. Some stale hops and a touch of artificial sweetened lemonade. Light to medium full. Sharp sourish aftertaste. Not for me.

Can from Thai supermarket. Fizzy yellow foamy lager, massive stale cardboard notes with hints of sulphur. Artificial, grainy watery stuff. Pretty damn bad, this is.
