UPDATED: OCT 16, 2006 Cask Stillage from the cellar at the Crescent, Salford 06/11/2004 A copper golden coloured hoppy bitter with some slight bitterness in the malt finish.

On cask at Market Porter, Southwark along with SilkTork. Vinous, fruity, malty aroma, some toffeeish sweetness and earthy hoppiness. Medium reddish copper color with a subsiding head. Flavor profile is malty and fruity, some caramel apple overtones and unexpected mustiness entering about midpoint, with a moderate amount of hop flavor but low bitterness throughout and a nutty, toasty malt finish. Medium bodied. Well balanced. A good pint.

Market Porter, Southwark. Fruity best bitter with a decent mouldy oak flavour and an interesting cobwebs and sweat aroma. One of the more interesting Archer’s I’ve encountered.
