Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. Golden, thin head. Creamy sweet Bitter. Light, airy, quite nice freshness and milky hop. OK.

Cask@The Bell, Swindon. After two previous less than impressive pints at the bell (the beer itself, not the pubs treatment of it) I thought id give my nearest micro another chance. The brew is yellow, hazy golden from the hand pump with a creamy white head. The aroma was sweet, zesty and spicey. a decent mouthfeel with a solid hop complexity but subtle enough to make it sessionable. A very good seasonal bitter I’d say. Now we just need the sun to come out.
