Back in action 25/9/07 at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol. Brown coloured with a slight off-white head. Aroma of nutty malt with a hint of sweetness. A bit chewy in the mouth with a dry finish. Not bad for a 3.8% beer.

[664-20070923] Cask @ Bag O’ Nails (Bristol, BR). Smoky earthy cocoa plant aroma. Clear, dark amber body with small quick off-white bubbles. Flavour hold earthy amphibian qualities. Medium body. Interesting but Very Strange yeast.

Bright amber/orange. Aromas are hops and smooth malts with some nutiness. Flavours are nutty malts with some (but not much) roast character. Dry and hoppy on the finish. Light and easy to drink.

Cask Conditioned, at the Wenlock Arms, London.
Golden with a aero-bar head (lots of medium size bubbles packed in to give you bubbles of nothing). Lightly hopped and lightly flavoured. Definitely session ale only.
