3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 chriso (7063) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 24, 2003
Light copper colour - not as golden as the name would suggest. Plenty of body, but like many Archers beers in my experience, a little too much residual sweetness on the finish. The number of one-off, occasional and special brews that Archers is producing is nothing short of bewildering and, without a company website to clarify matters, I can't help feeling that here is a little gimmickry at work. Perfectly acceptable beer, but nothing special. Handpump, Market Porter, London SE1, October 2003
