Cask@The Head of Steam, Euston, London. Not too much happening, standard cask bitter. Grainy malt, a little citrus from the hops. Dry and easy drinking. Nothing fancy.

Bottle. Amber colour with a medium tan head. Caramel malty, dusty, hop aroma and a dry, malty, floral hop taste. Medium body with a very bitter dry finish.

Cask Handpump in the outside bar at the Star Inn, Huddersfield 04/12/2004 Amber coloured bitter with some subtle hop content. Some dryness in the lasting malt finish.

Ginger colour. Short on aroma. Rather malty and a bit sweet but, truth be told, there’s not much to grab the attention here. Inoffensive, but uninspiring. Cask (handpump), Head of Steam, Euston, London.

Cask Conditioned at the The Head of Steam, Euston Station. With Duff & Chris_o. Sweet butterscotch. Somewhat burnt flavoured, sightly hopy. Quite nice.

Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. Fairly bland amber Bitter. Some toffee and caramel notes present. Smooth, but not too flavoursome.
