(cask) nice dark brown color, frothy tan head. nice malt aroma with hints of nuts. lots of malt in the taste, with coffee traces. lacked the smoothness and sweet finish that most oatmeal stouts have.

(on cask at the Market Porter, Southwark) beautifully thick, smooth and malty, but let down by a pointlessly obtrusive thin hop note at the finish that didn’t need to be there. nice tan froth. full textured but you can still gulp it down pretty industriously if you want.
