3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Rastacouere (5919) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 23, 2007
The agreeable house yeast strain manages to make this dark, golden to amber ale with a fading off-white head pleasant enough. Bready, malty, round bitter that drinks well and grows and honest mineral, earthy bitterness. Straight-forward british bitter that takes no risk and remains straightforward, but fun to drink.
