Cask Conditioned, at the Market Porter, London.
Golden amber, larger coloured body, without much of a head. What head there is, desperately clings to the top of the glass. True to form, the cask beer has very little aroma and requires the maximum amount of concentration to identify anything other than Marlboro lights, in this smoky pub. Big honey malt flavour. Carmel and nougat flavour with a moderate bitter finish. Very pleasant session bitter.
