Hand pulled at the Wellingtom, Birmingham. Reasonable red Bitter. Some nice malt flavour. Not too long, not too complex, but pleasant.

Mid copper colour. Plenty of flowery hop in the aroma, with hints of toffee. The flavour, however, quickly descends into dull malt. Not unpleasant, but nothing to shout about. Cask (handpump), Head of Steam, February 2005.

Amber with a beige lasting head. Lacks aroma, just a bit floral. Sweet biscuity malt, quite bitter and fruity in the finish. Smooth silky feel. Not bad.

Cask at the Head of Steam, Euston Station, London.. With Chris_o, joet, Duff & Kook. Hey it’s another Archers beer! Copper coloured and sweet. Fruity and flora. Malt and hops. All the parts required for a good bitter, but somehow isn’t. It’s OK like all of Archers, but what the hell seperates this from the 5,000 other beers they put out this week? Do Archers employee more people to think of new names that actually brew the beer?
