Hand pulled at the Anchor, Birmingham, during their Archers weekend. Amber, no head. Thin beer, slightly sticky in the mouth. Sweet, sugary and sticks to your teeth. A reasonable dry hoppy quality, with a peppery finish. Not too bad, but doesn’t quite do it for me.

Cask Stillage at the Roundhouse, Barrow Hill 20/05/2006 Very fruity citrus aroma. Amber coloured and very hoppy. Fruity citrus flavour. Crisp and slightly dry full malt finish.

Cask at Head of Steam, London Good strong beer from Archers Dark gold colour with good balance of fruit malt and hops erring more on the side of the malts.
