Cask handpull at The Phoenix, Canterbury. Copper colour with bubbly beige head. Yeasty, apple, caramel aroma. Tasty in mouth with caramel dusty malt. Nice supping bitter. Inoffensive, but flavour in mouth is good, finish is dusty, dry and some citruc hop which has a touch of nettle about it.

Cask, Dee View, Heswall.
Slightly unfortunate name, as I know a couple of people called village for reasons of a strictly IQ nature. This struck me as an instantly forgettable bitter with some fruity maltiness. zzzz

Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. A copper colored beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also light notes of fruit. The flavor is sweet malty and very fruity, which towards the end is accompanied by notes of honey, before a dry end sets in with hints of metal. The body is thin.

I guess it says something about Archers that I’ve had twenty of their beers before coming across their regular session bitter. Note to brewer - why not concentrate on the more regular beers rather than brewing a new identikit beer for every day of the year. This is a decent little session bitter with the emphasis on dry malt. Not a lot more to say, but it doesn’t need to. Eminently fit for the purpose (of drinking aplenty). Cask (handpump), Volunteer, Lyme Regis.

Hand pulled at the Anchor, Birmingham, during their Archers weekend. Orange colour, spaced lacing. Sweet aroma. Softer and fruitier than "Who"; lighter, with orange and more fizz. Small scale yes, but reasonably well done and drinkable, only lacking some freshness.

Cask Conditioned, at the Head of Steam, London. Drinking with my new friends Bill, Meeko and friend, this beer was very pleasant session bitter as SilkT mentions. Whilst I was speaking to Silk at length whilst at the H.O.S. it was only on the phone as our timing didn’t work out until the Wenlock later in the night. Good session bitter that delivers a lot more flavour then the 3.6%.
