Ungstrup (28448) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - AUG 25, 2005
A pale yellow beer with a small white head. The aroma is slightly sour with primary notes of brewing mash. The flavor is sweet malty and again brewing mash being most dominant.

Light golden colour. Fresh bready malt aroma. Flavour is also of bready malt, but is less pronounced. Light character. A very simple beer, but no particular flaws.

Lubiere (9438) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 10, 2005
Golden lager with a thin lacing white head. Aroma of grain malts and apples. In mouth, sweet biscuity malt with notes of maple. Medium bodied lager, simple, but honest.

canned; from Bier-Bienne - clear and bright golden beer with a poor head retention; fresh fruity aroma; medium-bodied, subtle carbonation and fairly dry, decent bitterness, light herbal and more fruity tones - correct

MartinT (7523) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 3, 2005
UPDATED: JUN 1, 2009 The Lure:
Grainy malt sweetness is helped by herbal hops. This smells quite clean and crisp.

The Festivities:
Affable yet delicate herbal hops and their firm peppery bitterness. A little hay and grass blades are scattered all around, drying in the sun. Indeed, pretty dry in the end, with that forced carbonation intensity peering through intensely.

Transcendence:
Loud laughter and spilled glasses. Simple merriment.

Aroma: hazed orange grey with large rather strong lived top. Decent lace.<good malt profile. Aromatic hop, slightly dusty back end. Clean but tad too sweet. 6+.
Appearance: proper deep golden look, clear. Top was rather thin, white lighter fizz.2+
Body/Flavour/Palate: Frontal slight tartness, mid light in body. Light hop notes that were bit understated for Pilsener. Why this brew is so tart? Lacking crispness and freshness that is basics for this style. Failed.

Rastacouere (6107) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 28, 2005
A pale, clear pils with decent carbonation that would support well any good flavored pils, but this is not the case here. Flavors are mostly limited to faint pils malts and bland citrusy and floral saaz. Very little hop presence for a pils.. and malt for that matter.

(Rating #997)

tiggmtl (4548) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 17, 2005
Grainy cereal malts with some light cabbagey DMS and mild herbal hops. Clear golden blonde body with a light cover of white head that recedes rapidly to ring. Grainy pils malt flavour with light finishing bitterness. Light body is somewhat watery with moderate carbonation that doesn’t last well. Sampled at the brewpub with Oakes, Rastacouere and Ungstrup.

Boutip (4494) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 17, 2010
Bottle: Poured a yellow color lager with a quite big pure white foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of light floral malt with sweet undertones is pretty tames though exclusion of any adjunct notes is welcome. Taste is also a refreshing mix between some light floral notes with a lightly sweet tone and some light dry hops. Again, no adjunct were detected which is quite satisfying. Additional hops presence would have been welcome though still a refreshing drink overall.
