Pour is caramel with a just off-white head with mild retention. Nose is caramel, honey, hay, cereal. Taste is about the same, bit a bit of piney bitterness on the finish. Decent amber, and better than their IPA.

Surprised at the terrible reviews. had this awhile ago at the museum de beau arts outside of Quebec. The waiter got uhh...nice when I ordered the "Chippy" as he was a big fan of the beer. i guess it added to my Palate. Red/amber ale from a can that is fine, say it isn’t so. All jokes aside Aroma: a bit of bitter hops, a bit of caramel, a bit of resin, sweetness, definitely this style of ale. Appearance: Small white head, nothing super pretty. Color is fine though. Taste: Similar as the aroma, maybe a bit more sweet (was expecting a bit more bitter due to the hops.) Solid but nothing special, very drinkable though.

Canette. Rousse limpide. Belle mousse légère et blanche. Nez: malté. Biscuit. Vanille. Caramel. Houblon florale. Bouche: ronde. Bien malté. Légère amertume. Florale. Caramel sans être sucré. Biscuit/céréale. Douce et rafraichissante.

On tap @ Archibald (Montreal Airport). Clear amber/golden with a small off-white head and good lacing. Aroma is of caramel, light earthy hops and mineral notes. Taste is quite similar, a tad more on the earthy side. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Kind of creamy mouthfeel. Earthy finish. Not super tasty, but quite easy to drink.

Depanneur Peluso, Montreal can: Pours amber with a white head. Aroma is caramel and a bit of hops. There really isn’t much to this beer aside of it being a straightforward, basically drinkable amber ale. I am in no rush to have anything like again.
