On tap at restaurant. Dark orange amber with a thin white head. Taste of caramel. Slight bit of bitterness in the finish. Not bad, but not great.

Bière arômatique originale rappelant une marzen mais avec plus de corps. Le malt prédomine et le liquide rappelle les mets asiatiques, le soya, le teriyaki. Ce petit goût relevé est mon point fort. Bonne bière.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 SlovakSniper (1349) - Candiac, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 11, 2011
(Can) Clear amber in color with a dense beige head. Lacing all around the glass. Nose is a mix between caramel and boiled vegetables. Taste is sweet malts and british hops (I guess). Body is medium with average carbonation and a oily texture. The way out is bittersweet. Overall, it’s a amber ale.

Can - 473ml. Amber body with a fair off-white frothy head. Well balanced but rather thin malty/hoppy aroma with grainy hints. Taste is a little bit sharper/stronger. It carries grainy and woody notes and ends witha decent bitter finish. Not bad.

Can 473 ml
Aroma: of honey brown generic brew. Forgettable.
Appearance: clean amber with high carbonation. Mid fizzy top.2+
Body/Flavour/Palate: upfront noted by honey , slight tartness and caramel. Black tea like hop profile with woody hints. Honey brown ale with British twist…

pours a dark copper, red tint, with a small light beige head, ok-retention. aroma of caramel and toasted malts, toasted wheat, hint of sweetness - nicely balanced light to medium hopping, grassy and acidic citrus. light body, aggressive carbonation. high drinkability.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 AlainG (239) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 16, 2011
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Metalchopz (1427) - Quebec, CANADA - JAN 26, 2011
Purchased at Intermarché St-Roch in Quebec City (where my band was playing). Pour a light copper-orange colour with a big off-white head that is creamy, with long retention and leaves dirty lacing. The aroma is of fresh hop at first pour, and then it changes to caramel malt and metallic notes. I find the body to be pretty light. The hop comes out on top in the flavours with some nice light bitterness, changing into some grainy malt and caramel, to then have the hop come back in the aftertaste. Quite a pleasant taste overall and nice to see the hop present (as the description says).

Nice medium amber body with a decent pillow of head on top. Faint malt aroma. Flavour is lots of malts with a hoppy wet finish. Very drinkable.
