Pours with a slightly foggy yellow body and an okay little thin strip of very white and thin head on top. Aroma is all citrusy and lemony-like, like I’m supposed to be drinkin’ lemonade - and that ain’t the case now is it? Flavour is thin hoppiness and a weak watery palate. There’s not much going for this one.

[4143-20111124] 473mL can. It smells like hot cheeseburger corn puke... with ketchup. Clear, pale yellow body with a quick foamy white head. Straw metallic hay flavour has a funny corn undertone. Light-medium body. Terrible. (2/2+/3/2/7/ 1.6

On tap at restaurant. Clear, straw yellow with a thin, quickly dissipated white head. Tastes of corn syrup, grains. Sweet aftertaste, virtually no bitterness. Clearly your aunt’s inoffensive beer, which makes this one very aptly named.

Can [473ml] shared with HogTownHarry, jerc & mabel -- c/o j&m. Nov. 2011. Pours a clear pale gold with a small diminishing fizzy white head -- doesn’t look great. Mild aroma is no better, with apple juice, honey, sugar, grain, rice and vegetables. Very watery flavour is grainy along with vegetables and light hops. Light bodied. Dull and bland.

Couleur pale typique d’une ale américaine légère. Arômes d’herbes, houblon donc arômatique, malt simple avec goût céréalier intéressant, peu d’amertume, rappelle l’agrume et le miel. Bref, une bière d’été ou de début de dégustation intéressante qui coule bien avec une belle rondeur de ale. Tout est dans la simplicité.

2011-11-24. Crisp yellow body with a small white head. First bit is odd but quickly improves, floral grainy aroma of pale malt and light hops. Flavour is similar, grassy pale malt is pretty thin, straw notes, odd bitterness in the finish. Average to light bodied palate. 2+ Okay, kinda meh. Bottle from Dépanneur Peluso, Montreal

(473 ml) Le liquide est jaune. La mousse blanche sans grande rétention. Le nez est fait de céréales sucrées. Les houblons s’expriment difficilement. Les saveurs sont sucrées, sans surprise, peut-être touchées par des notes citronnées. La bouche est mince, l’effervescence forcée et la texture aqueuse. La finale est un écho des flaveurs.

Can - 473ml. Pale blond body with an average, diminishing white bubbly head. Thin malty/hoppy aroma with some herbal hints. Its weak taste is slightly dominated by maltiness and ends with a short bitter/cormy finish. Boring.

Aroma: honey, dusty sweet character, generic plain nose. 4-
Appearance: golden, carbonated with fizzy mid top. Sparse lace. 2+
Body/Flavour/Palate: medium bodied. Slight nutty feel with honey. Slight astringent bitterness. Plain and very generic.

Purchased at Intermarché St-Roch in Quebec City (where my band was playing). This one reminds me a lot of their "Kwe" brew (which I have reviewed tonight as well), but even a little lighter in all aspect. Light yellow colour, white head, some lacing. Mild nose of malt and a little hop perfume. Grainy malt taste. Yeah, pretty much a watered down version of their "Kwe" except for the mouthfeel being better.

Canette 473 ml. De couleur jaune dorée et claire. Nez de grains de céréales aux notes sucrées avec des notes de houblon herbeux (herbes fraîches et mouillées) ainsi que de faibles traces de pain et de miel. Moyenne-mince en bouche avec un pétillement moyen et une texture aux notes crémeuses. Quelques traces fruitées (agrumes) lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un goût de grains de céréales aux notes sucrées avec des traces de biscuits et de caramel puis en finale l’on retrouve une légère amertume de houblon herbeux (herbes fraîches, traces de foin) aux petites notes florales. Post-goût court-moyen, légèrement amer de houblon herbeux.
