COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hand-crafted with a traditional European brewing style, coupled with an added touch of Asian spices such as Indian Kottamali (Coriander), Chinese Ba Jiao (Star Anise), and a touch of lemon zest, Saison Sayang has been lovingly designed to complement the characteristics of the joyful and multisensory Crystal Mirror event.

Deep golden pale in color, Saison Sayang is smooth and complex, round and flavourful yet refreshingly dry and thirst quenching.

Unbalanced falvour and aroma. Too weirdly spicy and un-nicely bittered. The carbonation is way too high. Terrible hops as well. The citrus and sweetness to it only exacerbates an already bad situation. The metallic note to it is totally off.

Clear yellow with little head. Smellis sharp hops and metal. Flavor is quite bitter. Highly carbonated. Hard to believe this is the style it fits into.

Gold pour with a light short lived head. Smell is thin and slightly dusty malt with some spices. Taste is nicely tart and hoppy, with a sharpness to it. Spiced and lemony. Biting unique spices and hoppiness seems to be the predominant flavor here. Really different and quite good actualy.

Draught at the pub in Circular Road
Golden color; creamy head. Delicate malt and caramel aroma, light hop too. Smooth mouthfeel, medium body, malty flavor with some toffee, complemented by good English hops. The spices, if there is any, are a perception in the final, with the lemon zest; the final is quite bitter and pleasant. A good beer, with the necessary tartness to be quite close to a traditional Saison, but more round body (or less dry, if you prefer).
