Papsoe (9993), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 25, 2008 (Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of fiulijn. Clear, deep golden with a creamy, off-white head. Aroma of fruit and sweet malts. Medium body, a little caramel and fruit and an odd synthetic tang. Lightly bitter finish. But drinkable indeed. 040408 joergen (6257), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 8, 2008 Bottle.

Hoppy finish. KimJohansen (3171), Copenhagen V, Denmark Apr 7, 2008 Clear deep golden with tiny white short lasting head. Sweet bready aroma with malty notes. Sweet flavor with malty and grainy notes. Ends swet. yespr (6259), Copenhagen O, Denmark Apr 5, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours slight hazy orange with a lacing white head. Dried fruity aroma. Slight oldish to oxidised dry malty and spiced flavour. Shows a light dry hops note into the finish. Persisting fruity towards woody note along this. highlandlad (1187), Sydney, Australia Feb 12, 2008 Wouldn’t describe this as a "thirst-quencher", whatever the brewer might think. Especially not in Singapore’s heavy, humid climate. It’s a bit too chewy, but interesting, all the same.
Caramel coloured with sunny honey hues. Strong aroma of cereals. Porridge, metal pails, blackcurrant, biscuits and chocolate-orange. Very thick mouthfeel for the style. Ginger notes, caramel toffees and a bitterness that builds on the palate as the bottle empties. Obvious US influences, as with most of the Singapore microbrewers. Found it quite cloying towards the end of the bottle. A little goes a long way. (330ml bottle courtesy of Sully at his Sydney RB gathering Xmas 07 - thanks amigo. Thanks also to my kid sis who delivered a second bottle for a more sober look.)
