Bottle courtesy of mar. Pours dark brown with smallish head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of molassas, syrup, raw meat and ginger. Flavor is burnt malts, ginger and molassas. Thinnish mouthfeel. More interesting than good.

Jul 19, 2008 dark brown pour with no real head at all. nothing but molasses and syrup on the nose. nothing but molasses and syrup on the palate besides the ridiculous amount of ginger in this thing.

May 25, 2008 (Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of fiulijn. Hazy amber golden with a rough, beige head. Fruity nose, a little nuttiness and a light touch of citrusy aroma hops - or is it Gula Melaka?? Medium-bodied with lightly burned nutty accents, some ginger-like spiciness. Dry and hoppy finish. Quite good. 080408

Apr 10, 2008 Muddy with tiny head. Sweet fruity aroma with ginger, caramel and roasted malt. Flavos goes same way.

Apr 9, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange to brown with a fully diminished head. Hoppy spiced aroma, light ginger note - but nicely subdued. Flavour is hoppy with a light liqourice note. Goes into a dry hoppy and liqourice finish. Nice and smooth.
