| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 17, 2009 Bottled A pale gold coloured beer with a fair amount of chill haze and a tiny off white head. A decent noble hop nose and then a good balanced taste of malt and hop. Not buttery which I find helles can be. Instead nicely drinkable with good flavour levels.

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 17, 2009 Bottled, 500ml, 5.7% as Premium Festbier from Westholme Stores, Goring, Oxon. Hazed yellow gold with slight white head. Initially quite light, a little sweet with a gentle fruity citric note, it becomes a little more assertive through the beer giving more fruitiness and a touch of hop spiciness. Reasonable without ever really getting going. EFC1878 (292), Manchester, Greater Manchester, England
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 29, 2008 Bottle from Carringtons, Manchester. Light gold with rapidly diminishing white head. Slight hint of fruit in the nose. Undistinguished taste - nothing you can clearly label. Slightly sharp finish. Uninspired and boring, I’m struggling to finish this. leaparsons (4760), Leicester, Leicestershire, England

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 24, 2008 Bottle. Quite sweet with plenty of body.
Medium pleasant texture and low carbonation. Clear appearance and easy to drink apart from being a little too sweet for my taste. A nice example of this type of beer. Doppelganger (1353), Dry County, Arkansas, USA

Light veg and malt flavor, almost enough hops for balance, but in the end, a bit sticky and uninspiring. Would need to be significantly dryer to work at this hopping level. Or more aggressively carbonated. Needs life.
