3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
500 ml bottle.
Pours a dark brown colour with a white, very creamy head. Looks delicious. Aroma of caramel, bread and rather strong musty earthiness. Flavour of bready maltiness, quite complex sweetness, earth, grassy bitterness and ripe fruitiness. Medium bodied, smooth round mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Nice and smooth.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: SEP 26, 2013 Poured from bottle 0,5. A very rich pitchy-brown color, nice coffee-head. Inspiring nose! I found there very delicate matiness, touching caramel and lollipop, mamelade, roasted bread and.. and.. an overriped dewberry.. Some resin from hops also. Very balanced taste towards sweetness, caramel, brown sugar, and just-just a bit alcohol pretty light for 7,2 ABV. Medium body, soft carbo, sweety-chocolate finish and its so "libation-friendly" as for doppelbock! Quite impressive! Prost! Going to buy another few of this..
