ElDesmadre (2153) - Mikołów, POLAND - MAY 12, 2015
Bottle, traded with McTapps and MichaelAwesome, thanks! Quite full bodied beer, with notes of bread crust, caramel, nuts, dried fruit, as well as subtle marzipan and a floral hoppy hint. Unfortunately the alcohol content shows up with time, rendering the drinking experience not really worthwhile.

gripweed57 (917) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - APR 11, 2015
On tap at Brauhaus Schmitz in Philly. Sweet roasted malt nose has hints of cocoa. Dark caramel notes, brown sugar, nutty and herbal. The residual sweetness dominates the palate. Dark fruits and more dark sugar in mid taste. Notes of vanilla and cocoa in finish. Lots of malt, not much accent on hops. OK though.

mkel07 (4035) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - APR 4, 2015
Bottle from The German Club 010415. Smokey, malty goodness in a bottle. Pours thn dark brown colour with an even layer of tan foam. Some smoke in the aroma and a whole lot of caramel and malt in the flavour. This is a good beer that goes down quite easily. Hold the 7.2% ABV quite well. Slight burn in the back of the throat. Thin bodied but quite full in the mouth.

Ein schön malziger Bock mit einer gewissen Muffigkeit, etwas an Malz, ein wenig Süße, aber schon einer ordentlichen Stärke. Absolut in Ordnung, wenn auch ein wenig zu viel Stinktier im Abschluss.
