My go-to beer for my bout with Lyme disease, where alcohol was just not a good thing. I’m rating this as a hybrid between low alcohol and hefe styles, as this was flat out the best na beer I’ve had and was actually like a weak true hefe. Appearance the usual with the head a bit wanting after the genuine pour. Aroma was decent, phenolic brightness lacking a bit and more slanted toward fruitiness and a touch of breadiness. Flavor followed, slightly sour fruitiness, but otherwise drinkable and fairly beer-like in character, although obviously not a star vs. the fuller and more robust genuine alcohol-containing brews! Given the absence of a hangover and the basic beer-ness, maybe I should stick with this here and there in the future, despite the treatments being almost done and a couple of beers now in my system again this week!

It’s unclear dark golden with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of banana, yeast and wheat, and I got a shock when I noticed it was the alkoholfrei - it sure didn’t smell like one. The flavour is sweet and a bit thin, and unfortunately I can tell the added vitamins in it, not too overwhelming though. It also has notes of yeast, wheat and a little banana, this could easily be a beer to bring for situations, where you have to drive back!

Hefiger Geruch, leicht fruchtig aber auch ein wenig muffig. Hefig-säuerlicher Geschmack. Sortenbedingt dünn im Körper. Dafür durststillend. Für ein alkoholfreies Weizen ok.
