2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
**NOTE: MY bottle is four years old and probably not of the best quality** Pours cloudy golden-amber with virtually no head. Nose is a mix of banana, wheat malt, and skunk. Flavor recovers the more standard weissbier flavor with a hint of spiciness and pretty light on the hops. It’s generally a bit murky in flavor and comes across in every way as "old" to me so I’ll need to find a younger bottle to get a "real" feel for this one.

3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Well done to-style hefeweizen. Pours an as-expected cloudy maize color capped with thick white head. Aroma tends more towards banana than clove. Flavor is mild with a pillowy mouthfeel. Slides gradually into a soft malty finish.

As Co-op Wheat Beer. 500ml bottle, from a Co-op somewhere (obviously) - not sure where or when, tasted in January 2010. Authentic enough appearance. Cloudy orange. Huge fluffy head. Fruity aroma. Not particularly banana heavy. Clove and lemon to the fore. More of the same on the palate. Quite pleasant.
