Bottle.Bought from Aldi at Cannock. Golden with a small head. Medium body with a small head and quite sweet. For some reason I think of as Winter beer as being dark, which this isn’t. Still quite a pleasant beer.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 wimpyjoe (1667) - Manchester, Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - MAR 9, 2013

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 AleTsar (1331) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 21, 2013

Light yellow golden, clear, bubbly white head, some lacing
Aroma - light lager hops, light spicy hops, touch of cereals
Taste - Soft pale sweet malts, light spicy hop, soft cereals, some plae sweet caramel
Palate - Medium body, medium carb, oily slick texture. Smooth oily fairly sweet finish.
Overall - Not a fan of lagers but I would drink this, reasonable with a surprising viscous texture

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 dogbomb (632) - ENGLAND - DEC 29, 2012
Bottle. A winter... lager? Incredibly clear straw beer with a white top. Nose is mostly malty - very maizey and cornsyrupy. There’s a decent taste to it though - a little pear and apple, some hoppy grasses, touch of honey. A little salty on the palate, but pleasant enough.
2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 ReV2 (52) - Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - DEC 27, 2012
What lager has to do with winter I don’t know but it’s a winter beer apparently. Straw-coloured with almost no head, quite a bite on the after taste, honey, hops, zest, apple, pear. Gassy - great if you like to belch a lot to impress your mates. Not that your mates will be around if you’re drinking Aldi lager. Hey, wait! I’m not judging you OK?

A shabby lager. No distinctive characteristics - unless you count ’dull as fuck’ as a characteristic.
